    Shooting monolithic, especially long ogive monolithic, you’ll benefit (read need) a faster twist for the bullets to be reliably stabilized and perform across board. 8 isn’t really needed for most cup/core bullets but once you add monolithic to mix, more twist is more better. YMMV so keep asking...

    I've had several customers take elk with 6.5 Creed and 140 VLD. Hunting has the thinner jacket, target still fragments plenty quick. 136 / 139 Scenar has dropped plenty of game also. Finding bullets might be the hard part unless you already have an assortment of different 6.5mm bullets on hand.

    127 LRX 130 Swift Scirocco Either from a 6.5 Creed will do just fine on elk. Need more velocity, step up to a 6.5 PRC or SAUM How long of a shot are you expecting? Knowing your DOPE, ability to put bullet where it needs to go is going to be more helpful in long run than extra fps and recoil.

    140 SMK would benefit from 0.040” or so jump. Zero reason to be 0.005” off lands. Distance off lands is not as useful as overall length when touching lands and/or x.xxx” off lands. Brand of brass?

    139, 136 or 123 Scenar 123, 130 or 142 SMK 140 hybrids, the ogive profile isn’t a great match to feed ramps and puts bullet deeper in case due to magazine constraint on OAL. What powder(s) are available?

    9mm? Appears magazine is marked 16, probably a 9. Looking at slide, it doesn't protrude appreciably past the dust cover of frame. Looks more like the 4.25" bbl version than the 5" bbl version I've seen.

    FC'XX brass not FGMM brass, the FC'XX is much tougher brass. Hodgdon Extreme series powder used for both bullet weights. Bump for cav1993.

    Not really, you just are breaking it in for customer. You are the FFL holder, meaning it is still in your A&D as belonging to the FFL entity but nothing stops you from using it. Isn’t rocket science. Satire….still working on that.
