Range Report Bartlien Barrel Issues
Beat me to it. After all the usual suspects clean for a carbon ring. Just went through a similar mess here. Some powders do this more than others, so worth a check. They do NOT come out easy!- Eddystone

M1 garand converted to .308 info
I shot a M-1 in the USAF. Davis Monthan AFB, rifle team, the rifles were all M-1s in 308. We ran a 175 grain SMK over 4895 at the time. Good shooting rifles.- Eddystone

I can say go with the CMP criterion barrel without a doubt. I'm absolutely impressed by how it shoots. My Eddystone was is the most accurate rifle I own by far!
