    MK 16 handguard

    It does. I just put 2 15" mk16 on builds using SA gas blocks. All are .750" fwiw. The .750" SA GB fits under the mk14 too (a few of them in the safe). As mentioned above, set screw versions.

    Is my brass ruined?

    Don't know if you've done it before, but I've cooked some a few times. If my parboiled brass would collapse or even go out of round between my thumb and index finger, I consider it well done and I chunk it. That appears to be expensive brass so I hope the case mouth keeps it's shape.

    Nah. I'm typically an Intermediate type of guy but was feeling a little subconscious lately. In my defense, I also went Carbine +1 on a 10.3" Bartlein (or Craddock did).... No doubt it is a soft shooting rifle. Hard to describe if you haven't run one. I was aware you like a long gas system....

    Primer blowout

    I wouldn't get rid of the primers personally, I just wouldn't use them for that cartridge at that level. I never have purchased any #41's as I use 450's, 7 1/2's, or my final 5k of Wolf SRM's for "high pressure" loads. I didn't notice if it was mentioned, but I would check the firing pin tip...

    Bullet for .223 Ackley Improved?

    Best luck I've had is with 80 grain VLD, 80 grain Fullbore, and 82 grain HPBT. I stuck with Varget, CCI 450, and Lapua Brass in mine. 26" Bartlein 4G 1-7. LRI throated mine at .075" so it doesn't have long throat. I shoot the 80 VLD jammed .010" and the other 2 jumped .020".
