New Contest Starting Now! This Target Haunts Me
Tell us about the one that got away, the flier that ruined your group, the zero that drifted, the shot you still see when you close your eyes. Winner will receive a free scope!
I drill the port in the gas block then tap it for a setscrew. Then I drill the correct port size in the set screw and screw it up into the gas block. Works great, will not fall out of adjustment and it can be done to any gas block.
I do this to a LOT of short barrels with a factory FSB. It is...
All Savages have massive chatter marks. What makes them a shooter is when they copper evenly. I buy used Savage barrels and scope them. If they have even copper they generally shoot well. If they have patches of copper they generally won't shoot well. First time I looked down one I was...
I run them on everything. Never had a problem with them changing adjustments or coming loose.
I run a lightweight bolt and lightweight buffer (1.5 ounces) on my 11.5”. It is as soft shooting as any AR I have ever shot. It has been 100% reliable in a few thousand rounds.

Different threads but as often the case I had someone back out after I bought the tooling to make an extension.
What I can do is make a few that might work for you. Then we can discuss any changes you need to fit your rifle as best as I can get it. Let me think on the QD thing for a bit too...
Do you tumble with pins? I have witnessed myself and well as told by a bunch of others that tumbling with pins can mushroom the case mouth enough to cause problems in tightish chambers.
Still looks like the hinge is in the way of the grip. Had they made it to accept buffer tubes it would have been WAY better.
The XLR Carbon is about perfect using a picatinny adapter.
Sounds like Capitalism is about to defeat the cartels.
It's ass weed. I swear that stuff smells like it was stashed in between two butt checks for the walk across the Rio Grand Valley. Hemp is now legal, the ass weed wouldn't pass for much more than that.
I replaced the Pork Sword with an XLR Carbon chassis. Magnitudes better at this than the Pork Sword. Mine is in 458 SOCOM and will have a 16" silencer. I am going to launch 528g Match bullets from LeHigh at 1,000 fps.
