Had mine out to 800y last week next to my NF 7-35. DOF seemed just slightly better with the NF. Very impressed with it so far. The reticle is a huge improvement to the 7-C and the main reason I upgraded from the Gen II.

Yes the bolt and magazine is the same for the 6.5 kit. I was told I got one of 6 6.5 kits that arrived in the US at that time. No word on when more kits were expected. I had been hounding a Berretta guy about the 6.5 kits for a while and ordered directly from them.
I did have one of the earlier M7 models. I have used the M5 at work for years (MSR 1) and then bought a M7 personally (MSR-2). I then sold it due to the CA once I saw what I was missing with the NF. It was most noticeable if shooting on light or white targets.
