New Contest Starting Now! This Target Haunts Me
Tell us about the one that got away, the flier that ruined your group, the zero that drifted, the shot you still see when you close your eyes. Winner will receive a free scope!
I picked up a used AT in 6.5x47L that should be here On Monday. Anyone out there have a creed-moor barrel or something other than 308 they'd like to trade for? Will include reloading dies. Previous owner said it has 200 rounds through it
I appreciate the offer but I'm particularly interested in the AT right now. The last thing I want to do is try out an AX and then want one of those too lol
I would go with a Colt for no other reason than the name. Replace the Magpul rear sight with a Colt carry Handle and your son will an M4 that will hold its value better than others over the years.
I prefer standard MOA with 1/2 moa clicks. Something similar to the MOAR reticle or the TMR if going with mils. Are we talking "Aimpoint bright" red dot? What is the ballpark cost of this thing? Also, would it be cheaper to just make the reticle in second focal plane? I never understood why...
I have the monfrotto 055cxpro3 for my rifle and have used it with my spotter clamped in the hog saddle. This setup is less than ideal so I would recommend using a QD head if you go that route. I ended up buying a slick sprint mini II for my rangefinder and spotter. It is very compact and...
I too would like to see a terrapin mount for the 80mm leupold. I'de like to retain the factory tripod mount for the spotter though. I'm not so sure about hanging the weight of my spotter on the objective.
Zeiss is a good unit. I just sold mine today because I upgraded to the Terrapin. Truth be told I only upgraded out of fear that I would not have the opportunity to own one in the future since Vectronix is discontinuing that line. My Zeiss would measure a warning traffic sign consistently at a...
Sounds better and better every day. I may have to buy one short action and one long action. I was never excited about the AX rifles. I played with the AX chassis and hated it so I am glad AI is producing this rifle. Anyone know if the adjustable thumb wheel on the butt pad of the legacy...
Anyone modifying long action AICS to accept CIP length AI mags? I have an older AICS folder and do not want to part with it because I prefer the look of the older skins.
I used to build only 16" ARs because they are more compact and I figured just as accurate. A few years ago I built my first 18" because I wanted a MK12 mod 1 clone. I've been sold on 18" for .223 ever since. The difference in trajectory is quite significant. I bought a KAC LPR last year and...
