    Got some time so I got the epoxy in. I didn't dye it black as I like the look of the bracing :). It took exactly 2.55 oz of epoxy to fill the area in perfect. Total weight added is just 3.5 oz.

    You probably saw a pic of a 22 LR lilja with the round not all the way in the chamber. The reason for not going tighter on the hmr is due to case ruptures. If a slam fire was a problem from going too tight, see how tight it is to push a 22 LR round into an eps match chamber! Never had one go off...

    That's pretty much as tight of a chamber you want on the hmr. If you go tighter ruptured cases will happen.

    If your test before pillar bedding was in much better conditions and you still managed to shoot better in poor conditions, I think your gonna be in for a treat. Wind can greatly affect a rimfire even at short distances! You have another testing session ahead of you when conditions are better.

    The custom firing pin and trigger springs should be here this week so I'll be able to complete the bolt! Just waiting for the custom trigger guards to be done so I can finish this thing and shoot it already! They should get anodized sometime this week so shouldn't be much longer!
