    Rifle Scopes Leupold VX3i vs Swarovski z3/z5?

    The Swarovski is so much brighter, I have a Z3 on an old Pre-64 featherweight (.270) and it is wicked bright and very crisp. I also have countless VX3's, which are good scopes, but the Z3 is better.

    I'd say try it! Be aware though, you may have to "tap down" the powder since the 4064 kernels are so large, when I loaded IMR4451 with 130's I definitely had to.

    This will work, but you should shoot three shots per charge weight. Then compare your avg velocities. One Shot is not sufficient.

    I used the Sinclair tool for years. It is pretty good, but so is my Dillon 550 that has been modified to properly seat primers.     You could always load one round per charge weight, starting at your minimum load and working up to your max a half grain at a time. This is how I determine a safe max load.

    I should add, I shoot weekly with two world champion BR shooters. Not sure how many records they hold together, but it's double digits. BR is not my cup of tea, but ALL shooters can learn a shit ton from these guys, they operate on a level that doesn't exist on Sniper's Hide.
