The Whidden are shinier than the Dillon and the inside hole is wider so they don't properly fit on the Dillon toolheads stands. That's it as far as I can tell. Yeah, no problem. It's actually insanely fast and makes great ammo. And once set, the Dillon powder dispenser will hit the exact weight more often than not, especially with Varget, H335, 8208xbr, etc. Even IMR 4451 did as well through the Dillon as through a standard rcbs/Redding type...- Marksman10x

Properly setup, a Dillon press can produce 1/4 moa ammo. Sizing and seating, using floating toolheads is a great route to take. As good or better than a single stage. Youth 243 build
I have a pre-64 model 70 featherweight in .243 and it is a pussycat to shoot. I don't have any kids, but I've let a few small framed girls shoot it and none had any issues. Definitely other issues here. My 18 times fired, never annealed 6.5x47 brass just gave a 10 shot sd of 4. Same type of story with my Lapua .308, 6br, and 6.5 Swede brass. My my guess is your charge weight isn't optimal. I'd go up and down a grain (assuming it's safe) in probably 1/2 grain...- Marksman10x

Imr 4451?
In 6.5x47, 41 grains of H4350 and 130 VLD's was giving me 2834 ft/sec. I did complete load work up of IMR 4451, from 40 to 42.5 grains and the best combination of accuracy and low sd's was at 41.2 grains and 2838 ft/sec- Marksman10x

Was just throwin it out there. Since you already have glass and a stock for the 223, you're right, doesn't make much sense. I guess I'm lucky to have a local gunsmith who only charges $150 to chamber.- Marksman10x
