    Hornady Auto charge pro

I'm big on Hornady products but for a powder dispenser the lowest I'd go is the RCBS. I have a Chargemaster 1500 combo that I was using till I switched to the AutoTrickler V4. I know that the lineup has changed since then so maybe some reasearch is in order.

Springfield M1A National Match. Exactly my load with the exception of the soft Federal primer, I use CCI#34 7.62 NATO spec primers.

COAL using CBTO from Hornady OAL gauge significantly shorter than book COAL?

No CBTO but pretty comprehensive. You can find Sierra load data online for most popular cartridges they sell bullets for. https://sierrabullets.files.wordpress.com/2017/01/6-5-creedmoor-load-data-112817.pdf

    6.5x47 still relevant?

This summer I went to a 2 day clinic/competition and directly from the competition I went on vacation to Nashville. I hand loaded 200 rounds of 6.5 Creedmoor for the competition and had 80 remaining. When I was in Nashville I heard about Dead Zero Shooting Park and their 1000y all electronic...

It is understandable when it is your trade. I was obviously unaware to that fact.

Where do you see 2” groups at 200 other than the factory Lapua ammo? 4/7 groups are sub 1/2 moa. 6/7 are sub moa. This is load development don’t forget.

Perhaps it would. I want to make it very clear that I am not implying that annealing affects E.S. or S.D. numbers. I was suggesting that case life may be extended by annealing. We can both play these games. These are some of the LabRadar logs from my 6.5CM load development but with actual data...

Why can NO ONE call 6BR the same thing???

There is a website of the same name with tons of info. There is also tons of stickys at the top of this forum for every caliber under the sun including 6BR. Most people on this site have 1-7" to 1-8" twist barrels which have enough twist and a long enough throat to run the 105's. I on the other...

I will disagree with you on the AMP being the only annealer that works. Brass manufacturers were using flame annealing for decades before induction annealing came into popularity. I don't want this thread to go down the same path as the last one that devolved and was locked so I will end it at that.

He’s better off ordering an annealer. You can go quite far with 100 pieces of brass if you don’t stretch the primer pockets or over work the brass. I had 23 firings on 200 pieces of Lapua 308 brass. I retired the brass when I swapped barrels. I have 338 Lapua brass (Lapua) with 10 firings of...

    Question about 13.9in vs 14.5in

Do you realize that a 0.89" diameter hole has just over 2 times the area of a 0.62" hole?

6BR Dies? rem vs norma vs ackley

I went through the same thing. He is correct. The throat length is the only difference between Remington and Norma. All the dies that you will find will be marked as 6MM B.R. Remington. They use the same dies. 6MM BRA has a 40° shoulder angle as compared to the 30° shoulder angle of the first 2...

    IMR 4166 and 308 Win

The only luck I had with it for accuracy was with the lower third of it's load range pushing 175SMK's I still have over 5lbs of it and I'm trying to find a use for it in heavy 223's or a slow twist 6BR.

    M1a

M1A National Match and a side stamped Norinco M305 with a Sadlak Airborne mount. The scope is now on another project since M14 patterned rifles were put into the prohibited class of firearms here in Kanukistan.

Need opinions on Colt pistols Python vs. Anaconda

I only started buying revolvers 4 years ago. My first revolver was a 1977 6" Royal Blue Colt Python. It is in impeccable condition with no turn ring so I don't shoot it all that much. It is very smooth with a D/A pull weight of 9lb 5oz and a single action pull weight of 3lbs flat. My second...

LRA Send iT Level MV3 battery hack

The LRA Send iT Level requires a CR1/3N battery which may not be readily available in all locations. I simply stack 2 SR44 batteries together. These are commonly used in many vernier calipers. They can be found in most big box or dollar stores. other alternate batteries are the 303/357, LR44...
