    Mines a 16.75” with ultra7. No hearing discomfort. As srt said, the ar bolt slapping around is way loud.

    You will fly through that. The 223 kit is silly fun. Especially going from heavier calibers to then dropping to a suppressed 223 or muzzle brake 223. Heavy gun makes it like blasting with a 22lr

    This seems to have solved it. Ditched the expander ball on fl size die and used expander mandrel set up instead. Seated just fine. Dropped into the gauge without issue. Never ran into that before... thanks for the support.

    Colored in the case with sharpie. Looks like its binding just below the shoulder.

    Reloading fgmm brass on 550b. Brass is cleaned chamfered and deburred. Fl sizing using rcbs die. Seating with forster mirco seater. Case checks fine before seating after seating doesnt fit. Scratching my head on this one.

    Im just not a fan of making the rifle super heavy. I have a 308 straight that is fluted and its a hammer but damn its a bummer to walk around with it. Granted it helps with recoil on larger rounds. Depends if the rifle is going to be a benchish gun or a walk around and shoot gun.

    I had to use some 1k grit sand paper to knock down some cerakote for one to fit nicely
