    Time pieces/Watches?

Also check Etsy. The overseas craftsman in VN and Thailand (for example) have access to real skins and some do very high quality custom work.

    Time pieces/Watches?

If your looking for a good "tool" watch, it's hard to beat the tegimented Sinn 857, if you get it on the used market. At 42mm it's very comfortable.

We're healing but slowly. He's got good margins on 80% and it's starting to contract.

Can I? Yup. Will I? Nope! I've done wound packing care for humans but you can tell them to quit being a sissy. Also I'm not willing to risk any progress at this point on something I haven't done before with him. I'm just slightly better than the "rub some dirt on it" phase in my medical...

Good idea. I take pictures everyday to check progress but the angle is always different. We've made some progress on the lacerations and in general it looks a lot more calm. I made him a new splint from rigid plastic tube and a heat gun to provide a wider base of support and keep him from...

These are probably the most brutally honest words I've seen on loss. Thank you.

I'm going to start calling UC Davis in the morning (hopefully they'll answer the phones). They have a vet school but I don't know if they do small animals, it's mostly ag. And... I've been in communist controlled territory before. My problem with the Manuka is that I don't know enough about...

I wasn't clear: the two "new" incisions caused by the heavy mattress sutures at the top and bottom of the crater are what I'm questioning should they be sutured. Both are in the dermis on the perimeter of the larger hole. There's so much soft tissue damage from this last go around that I'm...

Just a follow-up and I'll stop when you guys have had enough. We're at day 3 with Manuka honey and immobilizing. The attached picture shows the wound this morning and you can clearly see the lacerations from the mattress sutures. Unfortunately, the edges will not stay approximated and there's...

Nope, he's been pretty good about all of it though since the last surgery his leg trembles for an hour or so after wound change. The vet that saw him today thinks it's either nerve regeneration or the remaining stitch across the width of the wound is hitting a nerve. He's got a lot of pain...

Found a vet. Mattress sutures removed, irrigated with saline, and we're doing Manuka honey and open wound treatment plan for the next month it appears. Can't do the debridement of the edges, or the now abscessed mattress suture points, without anesthesia and the vet thinks he's had too much in...

Long story short, our 3 yo Akita had surgery to remove a benign growth on his rear ankle, just above the joint. The sutures ripped day one. He went back three times and the edges were trimmed to approximate the edges which again failed. New surgeon laid in two mattress stitches to remove some...

Any veterinarians in the house? I have an Akita that had a minor surgery go bad and now three weeks in (and four revisions), everybody is "out for the holidays". I have some detailed pics and a treatment plan to get him through the next four plus days but my experience is SF from 30 years ago...

THEGERMANS by proxy what stupid crap you got fer Christmas??

It's a Garmin Tactix 7. It can repel rainstorms, change the orbit of the moon, and has Jennifer Anniston on speed dial.

You left out that you sent a kilo of bacon that is keeping my cardiologist gainfully employed! Probably sacrilegious but this is what replaced the Bremont (you will notice the pork powered resting heart rate):

This needs some info. Hand planed stock: check. Hand cut miters: check. Squared up and running grain: check. Great workmanship: check. Exotic mystery wood with magic finish: no clue. Inquiring minds need to know!

Thank you (again). I used 1/2" neos every six inches on the sides and there are two more top and bottom. Probably could have just done every 8" but... it holds very tight and minus the finger cutouts, you can't see how it's done. The mahogany is something else. First time using it. I wanted...

Thank you. We tried a prototype swinging door but it would have required a piano hinge or several large hinges that would be visible. The glass made the door pretty heavy.
