    308 pmags at Midway!

They have an alert system, but not really a good one. My email came in at 9:06pm est, they had been in stock for over 3 hours before the email gets sent. About 99% of the email notifications I get are OOS the minute I get the email. This is the case on all the high demand items, I just have to...

EZ upgrade for Frankfort media seperator

I recently switched to the FA media separator and I was not impressed with how flimsy the thing is and also it has a tendency to toss quite a few pins outside the bucket. The clips suck and the guards are pieces of crap. I came up with an easy fix that tightens the whole thing up and also it now...

Sidearms & Scatterguns Question for you Glock guys

I agree, especially on your carry gun to limit mods to sights and aesthetics. We saw in the Zimmerman trial how a overzealous prosecution would try to exploit any mods to trigger function ect. Mas Ayoob's blog is a wealth of great info on concealed carry self defense.

Dont touch primers: Truth or Fiction

I wear gloves just because I am a little over concerned with lead exposure, most likely it is a concern not justified. I have a 9 year old that helps out on the bench and a 9 month old that we go play with afterwards so I try to limit the exposure. I use the plain jane Lee hand primer and never...

New GAP-10 Rail design. prototype's in!

I would have to agree about flip ups-but I have the Dueck offset sights, zeroed at 50, and use them all the time:cool:. They are just plain quicker for anything inside of 100 for me, especially on a running target. But the rail you have offered above would work fine for my setup. I will still...

Sidearms & Scatterguns Best IBW Holster 4 Glock 27?

+2 on the king tuck. the other brands in this same style also just as good (crossbreed ect). once you get the leather broken in after a week or 2 it is as comfortable as an old pair of shoes. I carry a 36 daily in one wearing board shorts and a tshirt, at about 4:30 and no problems sitting in...

New GAP-10 Rail design. prototype's in!

although I am sure it will look good no matter what, this opinion comes from someone that will be ordering one in the next couple months. I see absolutely no purpose for the rails on the sides. I just perused the semi-auto and GAP10 threads and the only thing I saw attached to the side rails...

Horizontal Pack lashing; does it exist?

This may not work for you, but I had a similar problem and wanted a few straps horizontal on my pack. I simply threaded 2 straps down through 2 opposing rows of molle, which then made a makeshift row of molle in the horizontal direction (between the existing molle). I believe the straps I used...

    LPK Help

The PSA kits are GTG. You can get the kit w/o fcg, or I believe they have a kit with a Timney. They have the most stuff in stock generally, and although right now shipping is running about 4 weeks they have been great throughout this year getting parts out (NO GOUGING). Many rifles around me...

    Small base sized brass problem

My FL sizing die does not come close to sizing the case back to virgin status, my SB die gets close, but still not quite unfired condition so I don't see how it would matter much if you used brass SB sized other than it was worked a wee bit more than it needed. It should still be a little...

Do I need a canted mount?

I may be showing my ignorance here, but I have never seen a set of rings with cant, only bases and 1-piece mounts.

Do I need a canted mount?

I don't know about "need", but I do know S&Bs PM series are designed to be mounted in a 20MOA base for best adjustment range.

    WeatherHawk meters?? Good/Bad?

I also have a WM-350, they can be had at Amazon for as low as $130 shipped and it reads essentially identical to a Kestrel. The ergonomics are a little different but for well over $100 less than the 4000 it is a great value, especially for those of us that feel that one is none, and two is one:cool:

    Pellet Rifle

We have been playing with the air rifles quite a bit, we destroyed 2 gamos in short order (silent cat and bone collector). They were junk, but WM took them back. They shot minute of paper plate at 25 yards. The beeman is not bad, but the best shooter at wally world is the benjamin 22 cal nitro...

An FYI on Bruno's Shooter Supply

I really just wanted what I ordered-I thought it was pretty poor practice on their part after all they are the ones that screwed up. I have no intentions of ever contacting Brunos again. Ever. I even considered not posting this here, but felt obligated to let everyone know the type of risk you...

An FYI on Bruno's Shooter Supply

Botach just gets you for the first purchase-these fuggers got me for that as well as $20 in fuel as well as $17 shipping to send the shit back. But yes-triple word score please! It should at least count in words with friends!

An FYI on Bruno's Shooter Supply

I have read non-specific statements here about Bruno's questionable CS, but thought I would share my experience for everyone's benefit. I ordered an item from them, and received the package about 6 weeks or so later (we are all used to that lately-no biggie). Opened the box, and they shipped me...

    Read it...and weep!

I view this as a reason to not buy any more vv powder. No sense in working up a load with a powder I may not be able to buy again, and if I already had a load I liked I may as well get used to something else.
