I will begin with I did a search and did not find the info I was looking for. I am taking a Daniel Defense MK12 (I have had good luck with DD) and I am going to put a proof carbon fiber barre in for one of these calibers. I just cant decide between the 2 calibers!!!! I will not be reloading and...

Suppressors FORM 1 pulling my hair out

Yes, 2 finger print cards and 2 photos are needed. Local sheriff departments does my finger print cards and I go to CVS pharmacy to get 2 passport photos, which are just 2"X2" pics.

Suppressors FORM 1 pulling my hair out

He is right the rules have changed. On the trust, in the past you can add people and they did not need to pass the same background checks. A loop hole, so others could use the NFA items, I never used the trust for that reason. No longer do you need the chief law enforcement signature, just drop...

Suppressors FORM 1 pulling my hair out

I would highly recommend a trust. I did use an attorney and he was able to setup and execute my wishes for the NFA items that I have acquired. As the laws have changed about the trust, I still believe it is the best option if you wish you and your family to enjoy these items. Just an opinion...

    Barrel company and twist rate?!?!?!

I was hoping a few guys had experience with 224 valkyrie in a gas gun. I have been using Proof Research carbon barrels on my last two bolt gun builds and I have had GREAT luck. I was looking to build a gas gun and was sold on the Proof Research 1-7 twist but a few shooting buddies suggested...

Which comes first, rifle or scope

If you have a little time, I would be checking to see if you can catch a deal on the Hide marketplace. I have bought several scopes here for a great deal and I have been lucky enough to find some great glass for a great price. So, you could put that money in a safe place and see if anything...

    Carbon fiber barrel POI shift?

I just finished my 3rd build with Proof and I have seen no poi shift. All three rifles are suppressed and I have been complete impressed with Proof's barrels. I have done 10 round groups with two of the rifles and have witnessed zero problems, however I was not shooting extremely fast. Already...

    Rifle Scopes Scope ring recommendation

I just bought a 22 trainer with Vortex Pro rings, and they seemed very well build. I believe they are around 60 bucks and seem very similar to my Seekins precision.

    16-18 inch shorty rifles

I thought about it, but considering I have a tattoo of a 6.5 Creedmoor on my right hand........ I declined the opportunity!

Rifle Scopes Steiner MX5i 3-15x50 question

The first five starting at 13 are slightly harder. 14-14.5 mils are 2.5-3x more stiff than normal clicks. The biggest problem is I love the scope and really want to throw on my shorty 6.5 creedmoor. It sucks not being able to get hold of the manufacture and I dont want to mount it to the rifle...

After the long wait and being disconneted, I left my number and in four hours still no reply. Rifle Scopes Steiner MX5i 3-15x50 question

Thank You, I was able to get it back together and it seems to be rotating the full 26 mils. I am concerned at 13-15 mils the dial turns much firm than the other 24 mils but it does make the two rotations. I am not worried about EuroOptic. because they are amazing. Steiner on the other hand and...

    Precision Rifles.....show em!!

I love the short barrel rifle I built. Got to play with it today and it performed beyond my expectations. I am running a can so the shorter 16inch barrel was to help keep the rifle very easy to maneuver. I would recommend the 6.5 Creedmoor because in a short barrel that I am running the...

Rifle Scopes Steiner MX5i 3-15x50 question

I just received my Steiner MX5i ffrom EuroOptic and the box was sealed but the top turret was loose in the box. I believe the two screws that hold the cap on were backed out allowing our gentle UPS delivery company to allow the cap to come off and the outer indicator ring, the one with lower...
