Someone here had mentioned that the cross won't support a magnum bolt face as the barrel wall would be too thin around the chamber. I don't personally know, but I remember it mentioned way earlier in the thread.
After all these messages, did the OP really say he was buying the Aero mount? I love Aero's stuff and all of my AR's are built using their parts, but that mount will never enter my life again. Have fun spending an hour trying to guess the left cant on the scope that will level when you tighten...
I bought a 4-20x50 and unfortunately had an issue with the entire eyepiece rotating with the magnification ring after about 60 rounds on a creedmoor. It seemed to lose zero and wasn't tracking like I thought it should, took some time and ammo before I actually saw what was happening. Sent it...
Maybe I'm applying to much at a time, did you do any waiting in between layers? Or curing between layers? I preheat and then had mine in an oven at about 200ish for two hours after I sprayed and it just didnt ever want to cure even weeks later it was still slightly tacky.

Threading is their main focus, and they don't need the action seperated from the barrel, just strip the rifle down and send it over to them.
