New Contest Starting Now! This Target Haunts Me
Tell us about the one that got away, the flier that ruined your group, the zero that drifted, the shot you still see when you close your eyes. Winner will receive a free scope!
Re: My Savage TR 22lr
Wow, that is one hell of a scope for a .22! Wish I had one laying around...or just to have one at all! I finally got to look through them today at the NRA convention and now understand the excitement about them!
Re: Smallbore Silhouette 2011 - Factoryville Pa.
This may be something I would be interested in trying this summer! Sounds like something new to try my hand at. It is quite a drive, but I could possibly make it work! Seems like a lot of fun to me

Exactly. Not worth taking a chance. People in this...
Re: best scope for less then $350?
I have a couple of the 10x50 TRS-2 with illuminated reticle, and I enjoy them. I actually have too many and a bunch left over NIB. I will shoot you a PM. Might as well give another option!
Re: First Attempt @ 600 yds......
First time at 600 or not, still a great shoot. Especially you going into it blind. Best of luck on your future shoots. I can see a first place in your future=D
Re: Lets see your P 'doggin guns!
I am using a 700 SPS Stainless Varmint in .22-250. Unfortunately, I don't get to P-dog hunt, only ground hogs in the fields of western PA.
Re: Best caliber for coyote hunting???
I say .22-250..
PGS that rifle must have weeks worth of stories. 1900 coyotes with one rifles is insane. 1900 coyotes in ones lifetime seems insane, let alone with one rifle.
Re: Hunting pictures...cant wait for fall!!!!
Snagly;
I really need to move to your area and start getting tags! Seeing pictures like those just make me want to finish school and hunt for the rest of my life! Great kills and great animals. Also looks like you have a fine collection of...

Re: Thumbhole stock for hunting rifle?
**I have shot .308 hunting rifles with TH though and they were a blast. I just personally haven't taken one in the woods for deer. Only in fields for varmint.
Re: Thumbhole stock for hunting rifle?
I have never used one for deer hunting, but I have done it will offhand small game and varmint. I enjoyed it and like the feel. I am still a bigger fan of "American" looking stocks. There is just something about them!
Re: Mr. Ground Hog
Death to all groundhogs!
My Mom called me the other day and said, "I am sorry. I hit a fat groundhog with my car. One less for you to kill but I think I saved you ammunition costs."
