    Manners LRH Discussion

Anyone else notice the new LRH-NV with the forward bridge and PH style forward rail? There's a few ready to ship... https://mannersstocks.com/product-category/ready-to-ship-stocks/mcs-lrh-nv/

    Accuracy International Picture Thread

Pepperidge Farm remembers when ATs without barrels were going for under $3k soon after the ATX came out and everyone was dumping their "obsolete" ATs for the new hotness... Hindsight being 20/20 (or even 20/10) while I still really like my 2x AX308s and 1x AXMC I should never have sold my 2x...

    Ingenuity Powder System

Odd sized kernels wedging between the base of the notch in the disc and the outside of the housing and binding/stopping the disc has been an issue since the IP trickler was first sold, I’ve been dealing with it from the beginning as my IP trickler came from the very first shipment. Some powder...

Hate to ask but need purchase advice…

No. Year of production is the 2 digits before the AT in the serial number (19 AT XXXXX would be 2019 production for example.) 2015 production and later should be small firing pin, but it's good to verify. 2014 and earlier were 2mm (large) firing pin, which may or may not be an issue depending...

    Accuracy International Picture Thread

That's not fuddery, it's clearly AInime. Probably belongs to the guy that keeps posting pics of various R700s in AICS over and over in this thread, he just wanted to show off his latest build... ;)

I wonder what he was going to spill the beans on.

Going to be very interesting to see how this all plays out and how fast they identify and find him. My first thoughts this morning were "I bet United denied a procedure for a loved one or family member." Having been through that recently for a family member and watching the doctor go through...

AXMC SFP bolt shroud assembly question, same lugs as LFP bolt shroud assembly?

And now for your typical story regarding AI spare parts availability... Mile High just told me they cannot source only the 1.6mm firing pin as AI doesn't even have a part number for it by itself, so instead of buying a $100 firing pin you have to buy the entire $560 1.6mm firing pin and shroud...

AXMC SFP bolt shroud assembly question, same lugs as LFP bolt shroud assembly?

Just tested it, my LFP shroud and LRI bushed firing pin locked right into my factory AI 1.6mm SFP 308 bolt, so the shroud is the same between factory AI SFP and LFP bolts. I'll order the new 1.6mm SFP 300wm bolt right now to lock in the good black Friday price and then call mile high on Monday...

AXMC SFP bolt shroud assembly question, same lugs as LFP bolt shroud assembly?

I already had my LFP bolts bushed by LRI, but for some reason I want to change to the factory SFP bolts because of the arguably better design of the AI firing pin (a much shorter length of the smallest diameter portion of the firing pin compared to my LRI bushed bolts which have a rather long...

AXMC SFP bolt shroud assembly question, same lugs as LFP bolt shroud assembly?

Question for AXMC shooters that have the new factory AI small firing pin bolts or have swapped their LFP bolts to SFP bolts: I know the firing pin itself is obviously different, but is the firing pin shroud assembly (the part containing the safety lever that locks into the bolt body) the same...

Sooo... Any good 2024 Black Friday deals we should be keeping an eye out for?

If anyone is looking for Hawkins Hunter bottom metal and the matching Hawkins hunter flush fit magazines, Arrowhead Rifles has extremely good prices on them right now. I ordered 2x Hunter DBMs and 2x Hunter LA mags from Altus yesterday using the 15% off coupon thinking it was a decent deal, and...

Any FFL that can help with AR-15 shipment to restricted states

OP is not a glowie, this gets talked about frequently on Calguns... the CA resident buyer needs the rifle to be converted to a CA-compliant configuration (non-roster and fixed mag or featureless) before it can ship to CA. That often involves changing muzzle device, stock, grip, mag release/lock...

Sooo... Any good 2024 Black Friday deals we should be keeping an eye out for?

Regarding the Gen 3, other than buying used the cheapest option for a new one is usually to buy a 30% off vortex street price cert from Euro Optic off the PX here for about $75 and then order from Euro for around the price used ones in the PX go for. If you live in a state that gets hit with...

Rifle Scopes New Schmidt & Bender PM2 6-36x56

Inspect the contacts and spring and try a different brand of battery before sending it back. Some brands of 2032 batteries have slightly different exterior dimensions and edge radii than other brands and occasionally that can cause issues... but the provided battery should work in it.

    ACIS 223 Magazines

Yep, a couple minute job with a rat tail file to the front on the plastic inserts, first thing I do on all my accurate 223 mags to accommodate long OAL with the 75gr+ bullets. Not sure why accurate doesn't make them that way to begin with, other than at this point they probably don't want to...

Rifle Scopes New Schmidt & Bender PM2 6-36x56

Better yet... Multiple units in a single turret. 1st revolution in mil, 2nd revolution in MOA, 3rd revolution in Furman. Makes for interesting drop charts and keeps you paying attention when dialing.

    ACIS 223 Magazines

Accurate mag makes a 5 round 223 AICS magazine, # 00100-0038. I have a couple of them, they work great. https://accurate-mag.com/shop/magazines/shortactionaics/223-rem-5-56-nato-dssf-magazine/

    ARC Coup de Grace Builds

As mentioned, based on the actions I measured a bix medium sear is right in the middle of the acceptable engagement range chart on a CDG. Archimedes and Nucleus on the other hand usually need low sears on a bix, they have rather short cocking piece to trigger pin dimensions (my 4x Archimedes...
