Rifle Scopes Lapping rings necessity or dumb in 2019
Lapping rings is like the old keep your scope as low as possible theory.. not needed in this day and age.. spend at least $100 on rings and call it good. Btw the only time I've marred a scope is when I thought it was a good idea to lap the rings. I'll never do that again.- chavezz556

Which one did you get? I have a Vortex AMG and I never go above 20 but I wouldn't mind the higher mag for spotting- chavezz556
