    Re: .308 Barrel question I went with a 22" JP super match barrel. why 22", cause the 20's were on forever backorder. 28", on a semi auto, you are just adding a TON of extra weight and you really wont see that much of a gain over a 20.

    Re: cleaning bolt action rifle for friend in all honest, I think it just needs a really good cleaning. it is prob layered in copper. Idk if he used some weird ammo, or corrosive old stuff, or what he actually did. its more now im more curious then anything to see this rifle.
