    JGorski - thank you for bragging about how much of a good deal you got and how great your rifle is. It has really helped me with my request for advice. I checked online and most of the 5R TT's were going for $1600.00 ish. I am waiting to hear back from Remington.

    I had a 1500.00 credit to use at the gun store (previously posted in general) and there weren't any 700AAC-SD or 700P anywhere to be had. I wanted a 308 and I didn't want to let the Credit sit to long. I figured that if I didnt like it I would just sell it!

    Topgun050 - fwiw, My scope was installed dead-on nuts level but every now and then my reticle will appear turned a bit clockwise. I realized that it only happens if I am not looking dead straight through the scope and also only when I wear my glasses.

    I jumped the gun on a lever action purchase. The owner told me that if I change my mind during the 10 day waiting period I could use the funds as store credit. I am not interested in keeping the lever action.
