Yeah, there is no reason to use one on a precision rifle. They are loud, heavy, and long compared to traditional cans. On bolt guns they are 5-10db+ louder than traditional cans. On ARs they are about the same SPL to the shooter's ear as just using a traditional can and an adjustable gas...- Potss

Correct. Not really concerns, the rifles straight up didn't meet the 1moa spec they had set for them. So the rifles went back and they said "maybe spring release, but we won't release till they are right." So now we are all waiting in the dark. Hopefully more info at SHOT.- Potss

The problem is the forward ejection system as designed requires a lot of force to function properly. So the longer you delay unlock, reduce carrier speed, cut gas, etc, the less reliable the forward ejection becomes. Supposedly yes the T7 will have a 20in "DMR" variant at some point, but who knows when. Think of how long it took them to get the .300blk X95s. The testing published on TTAG was only done at the muzzle on a bolt gun. On a semi-automatic rifle, the majority of the noise the shooter experiences comes from the chamber as it unlocks. Run from Crux. Terrible QC, CS, and sub-par products. Dead Air Nomad is the new hotness, only reason to get anything else generally is if it is going to live on a bolt gun in which case I'd get a TBAC.- Potss

Best Adjustable Gas Block
Neither the SLR or the Superlative carbon lock. Especially if you drop a little Slip 2000 in and click it up and down every few thousand rounds. Other designs, I cannot attest to.- Potss
