    this is incorrect. The 2.5-10x42 is a compact. The NXS compacts have a standard zoom ring not the rotating ocular of the full size NXS optics. I believe they even include a small stud to help with the zoom now. My two 2.5-10x32’s did not and can be stiff in cold weather.

    With the departure of what is most likely our last guests until probably January, I started seeing ice running in the Yukon. Like it or not winter is here. It’s still brown along the north side of the river with the southern exposure, but there’s snow once you get back in the woods.
