    Never shoot without my UL7 CB attach suppressor not screwed on so can't comment on poi shift. Shot this group the other day though using a relatively light 6.5 lapua. Love my UL7 with CB attachment.

    Accuracy is there. 5 round group at 100. 135 berger, .170 throat, seated at 2.70, about .045 off, 37.7 varget. 2700 fps 19" hawkhill 8 twist.

    Looks like 2700 FPS is about tops for 19” barrel with the 135 in my rig. 37.7 grains of Varget. Testing for groups next.

    Looking to find a load with highest velocity I can get from 19" barrel and 135 Berger Classic. Trying IMR4451 and VARGET first. Any other powders you would consider?

    I have been using a candle to anneal my brass. Seems to work. Just shot 36.5 grains of varget with 140 vld on the lands. Shot great. I’d go higher with the 130 I think. Although 37 seems to be quite good for you.

    Just read an ad for a Remington 581 that shoots crap ammo into 1/4" groups at 50 yards. So not sure what the big deal is about these vudoos? Disclaimer, my Rem 581 will not shoot 1/4" groups at 50 yards.

    135 Grain berger ammo in my Hawk Hill #2 6.5 creedmoor at 22" shot 2750 fps and held .5 moa to 500 the day I shot it. Very easy to like that ammo.

    Cranking down screws tight till there is no gap can induce stresses on the action. For me, that is the whole reason to bed one. Stressfree mount.

    Suppressors PSA - On Cleaning Rifle Silencers - With Cutaways at 12,800rds

    I read that to mean they became less effective. Seems to make sense as they lose volume to fouling. That is a lot of bolt gun shooting to get to that point at my current practice rate.
