Not sure what you mean by "stock scope rail" as most 700's don't come with mounts. If it did come with a mount from Remington, I'd replace them. Rifle Scopes Anyone running NF SHV F1 + Tikka CTR?
Great scope and rifle. I've got the CTR and have used the SHV F1, I see no reason why they wouldn't make a great match. If you are using the factory CTR rail, you will likely need a ring height similar to the Seekins Medium (.870") or close to it.- wareagle700

Badger Ordnance makes a great uni-mount for about $170, you could certainly pay more though if you like. I like My SPUHR mount but I got it cheap in a package deal. No way would I pay $400 for another one.- wareagle700
