    Have just over 1k rounds through my B14R at the moment and have only the occasional failure to extract an empty case. Occurred less than 10 times. Hell it even feeds with Vudoo magazines. Good info to have tho!

    Honestly though you don't really need hearing protection when you're spectating others. I'm not standing right up to them and it's certainly not very loud at all. The only time I ever see shot timers used as well is done using par time so you don't even need to count the shots.

    Rifle Scopes Burris XTR 3 vs Bushy XRS 2

    I actually really like the thin lines of SCR2 and it's on a 3.3-18. I don't have any issue finding the reticle and much prefer shooting with it than my Steiner 5-25 with an MSR reticle (in competition) I will say that both the thin lines of the SCR2 and thick lines of the MSR both have merits.

    Like the others here, I don't typically like bouncing optics around. It gets expensive though. I do have a 5-25 and a 3.3-18 on single piece mounts that I interchange every once in awhile depending. Torque them to the same weight and honestly I don't notice any zero shift.

    .223 or 7.62x39 for "S & G"

    Current climate I might go with the 7.62x39 cause I'm having an easier time finding it online than .223. I think .223 is abit more flexible if you ever wanted to get into local matches. My fun bolt gun right now is a .22lr and honestly I don't shoot much of anything else ATM.

    Vudoo rifle vs barreled action

    Picked up mine from altus, haven't had any issues aside from me not knowing how to load the magazine properly. Buy a quality chassis and you should have no issues.
