Rifle Scopes Lite scope for a lite rifle

Mel Forbes rifles are vey nice. I am torn a MF .30-06 and a 700 mountain 7mm-08. If you don't own a March 3-24 yet you owe it to yourself and the rifle. Go with the low illumination and exposed knobs - you'll enjoy the combo.

    Anyone have a Mini 14?

I pity fool - that blows his money on a mini. Gotta buy another gold chain! They were cool for shooting blanks in the 80's - awesome actually! Dukes of Hazard and A-team, now that was a fine night of TV watching. Had to put the Atari joystick down for those and Battle Star Galactica... I...

Rifle Scopes I hate Leupold's customer service

I recently purchased a used Leupold 12x with a broken reticle for a browning low wall .22 hornet that needed glass. I bought it knowing I'd have to contact Leupold. The whole experience went incredibly well and the scope was returned sooner than the time I was quoted. Scope is perfect again...

Rifle Scopes Nightforce 2.5-10x42 .... This is what was missing !! :)

Sean and Sendero, Thanks for the info: The new Mil-R reticle is available with the 2.5-10x42mm with the .1 Mrad ZeroStop adjustments. I didn't notice that option on the website. Now I can go shopping for a couple scopes.

Rifle Scopes Nightforce 2.5-10x42 .... This is what was missing !! :)

Sendero, I understand the MOAR for those users, but I'd prefer the MLR 2.0 for a mil based scope rather than mil dot. Maybe it won't work in this scope, but if MOAR does it seems MLR 2.0 would. Since you are communicating directly with NF please run this by your contacts.

    Rifle Scopes March Scopes?

If weight and size are a factor then go with the march. Consider its size to everything else you are considering. Once you own a 3-24 you'll wAnt one on all your rifles.

Sidearms & Scatterguns Miller Bros blades

I met the Miller brothers at the 2013 blade show in Atlanta about a month ago. I loved the m16 and m8. My friend bought the shortest m8. They are like becker's on steroids. We spoke to them for a long time. If I hadn't gone crazy at the CMP in Anniston I would have purchased the two knives...

Nosler Match Grade Custom Competition .308 HPBT out of a GAP-10?

Works great in my bolt rifles. It was too hot and blew primers in my ar10

Rifle Scopes Recommended tool for general torquing of scope/rifle?

Slate 84 - Regarding base guides to what everything should be torqued to, I'd recommend consulting with the original manufacturers instruction manuals. The Badger and Spuhr manuals include this information, I can't speak for Bell and Carlson. You may want to download a Newton Meter to Inch...

    range toolbox/supplies case

Go to uline.com and look at their totes. The round trip version is available in various sizes. I use a larger one the holds all my range gear. I leave it partially loaded so I don't forget the essentials.

Rifle Scopes Help with new glass IOR Valdada

Re: Help with new glass IOR Valdada I have the same scope you are referring to and it is great. If I were to order one today I'd contact Liberty Optics and order the 3.5-18x50 FFP Mil/Mil for $1699 - they are throwing in binos this month. I believe the eyebox is more forgiving on the 50...

Good fleece jacket? I hope you can help me

Re: Good fleece jacket? I hope you can help me Columbia fleece + Columbia rain coat and your gtg year round. Buy two fleece jackets and dedicate one to rough use. Keep one in the truck for the chick in your life - they are always too hot or too cold.

    Pendleton Safes

Re: Pendleton Safes I just looked at Pendleton safes at the NRA Show in St. Louis. They had dummy rifles in the safes that could be moved around. If you are challenged with storing multiple rifles with large scopes the carousel system does not work. I had a hard time placing two dummy...

Rifle Scopes Help me decide: IOR, Leupold ER/T or Bushnell HDMR

Re: Help me decide: IOR, Leupold ER/T or Bushnell HDMR I shoot the 3.5-18x42 with the MP8-X1 reticle on an AR-10 and an IOR Pitbull on an AR15. Both scopes are perfect for these rifles. Scott from Liberty took care of me on the 3.5-18 and the PitBull came directly from Val from IOR/Valdada...

    Gap-10...Cleaning supplies questions

Re: Gap-10...Cleaning supplies questions Follow the instructions on the GA Precision website, they should come with your rifle as well. If your rifle is as tight as mine, you'll need a brass punch and hammer to loosen the rear take down pin. I lay my gun on a roll of duct tape while doing...

    Rifle Scopes IOR Valdada questions

Re: IOR Valdada questions 3.5-18x42 illuminates the center dot only. I have one mounted to an ar-10 and it works well. You will want the 3.5-18x50 for a bolt action rifle. Contact Scott at Liberty Optics, or visit his web site for more info.
