I’d recommend sticking with your 6.5 Hornady brass, annealing and neck trimming.
***** Start low with your powder charges. It seems that pressure spikes quickly.
Annealing the brass makes a huge difference when forming this case.

I like the .308 for deer. If price isn’t a concern you may want to considera Q Fix, or at least handle one before purchasing your only bolt action rifle. Good luck with that by the way.

I’d buy a Dominus and follow up with the Gen2 338. Those two will do everything you’d need. Great hunting/gas gun suppressor and the quietest solution for anything up to 338.
Borka fan here - I never leave home with out it. Boris builds a well thought out kit. I have an original and a later gen. I’d like to try his latest version, but haven’t pulled the trigger yet.
Dominus - size, weight, durability, checks all the boxes, along with being a TB.
If I were starting all over again, knowing what I know now, I’d start there. It will save you time and money. It is a solid choice if you are going to scratch the itch.
