    Rifle Scopes $700 scope comparison

For me the eye box and reticle are the two most important factors, assuming the scope tracks well and has zero stop. I test eyebox in various shooting positions because the distance of eye to scope changes. So can I set the eye relief such that I have a solid picture in every position without...

SOLD Vortex Razor 1-6 Gen II E

https://vortexoptics.com/razor-hd-gen-2-e-1-6x24-riflescope+reticle-JM-1~BDC Look it up. ADM has a website. Vortex lists their scope for 21.5 oz.

    Rifle Scopes $700 scope comparison

I like my two XTR3’s. Burris needs to have a 2-10 or 2-12 XTR3 with side parallax and illumination. It would be a sweet spot scope - better than the PST2, Credo and GLX and comparable to NXS 2.5-10 and Leupold MK5 2-10, but at a better price. I think there’s a sizable market for people...

Anything better than PST Gen2 2-10x32 for under $1k?

Despite already having a Credo 2.5-15 on one rifle, I’m leaning against the Credo 2-10 because there‘s no parallax adjustment. I previously had a Vortex Razor LH 2-10 and the lack of parallax was the reason I sold it. Focus at certain ranges drove me nuts. Im going to try a Swampfox Kentucky...

Anything better than PST Gen2 2-10x32 for under $1k?

I hunted and shot guns with mostly Leupold scopes from my teenage years up through about 30. Since then I’ve learned to use and appreciate shooting mil/mil setups. To me, it is ridiculous and a shame that Leupold is so stuck in the 90’s with their MOA scopes and inexplicable devotion to the...

Anything better than PST Gen2 2-10x32 for under $1k?

Maybe I’m strange, but I used to hunt with a Leupold 1-4x that I felt was better than open sights in the hardwoods at 1x. Feel I can kind of do that with my Credo 2.5-15 set at 2.5. Now just looking for something like that which goes up to 8x+ with mil reticle for some steel plate fun.

How so? What did you see as noticeably better between the two?

Anything better than PST Gen2 2-10x32 for under $1k?

I’m adding the Swampfox 2-12 Kentucky Long to my list based on a couple rave reviews I’ve read implying this is the best bang for the buck scope that fits my criteria. I can’t tell if they are a Chinese company who opened an American office to focus on this market OR if they are an American...

Anything better than PST Gen2 2-10x32 for under $1k?

C_Does provides a thorough review of the Credo. Here’s the 2nd review after Trijicon Warranty resolved his issue. Heres another review he does of the PST GEN1 where he praises it above the Credo which costs double. I personally draw the line at 2.5X and prefer 2X or below because for my...

Anything better than PST Gen2 2-10x32 for under $1k?

I’m close to buying this scope for a shorty 308. It want It to be capable of close up shooting, say a running deer at 25 yards but also able to drop it onto a tripod or bipod for a 600 yard shot. Pretty typical 308 bolt action stuff. Requirements: Under $1k used, MAGNIFICATION - min 2.5X and...

    Rifle Scopes $700 scope comparison

Here’s another thread where people cite conversations They had directly with Zeiss. So maybe a little bit of a gray area because Meopta and Zeiss both had a hand in the Conquest scopes.🤷‍♂️ I don’t really care, just find it interesting...

    Rifle Scopes $700 scope comparison

OP mentioned Zeiss V4. I believe I read on your site, maybe BigJimFish, that Zeiss Conquests were made by Meopta. Also Optika6 is basically a 6x variable upgrade of the same Zeiss Conquest spec.

I disagree. I‘ve spent the better part of my career in customer service for several different companies. I also am very familiar with all the competing companies in my industry. The companies with the best products are also the ones with the best customer service. When a company invests in...

    Rifle Scopes $700 scope comparison

For me Leupold is what I used 20 years ago. Great glass and warranty. Just not interested in Duplex reticles with MOA turrets except on more vintage rifles. Also their prices are high. Vortex, Burris, Trijicon mo betta.

    Rifle Scopes $700 scope comparison

Ive had the Bushnell XRS 4.5-30, Burris XTR3 5.5-30, XTR3 3.3-18, Credo 2.5-15, Vortex Razor LH 2-10 and USO 2.5-20 and for general hunting with some long range opportunities in the mix, I would choose the Credo if weight is a concern and the XTR3 if weight not a big issue. I sold my Bush XRS...

What’s up with Liberty Optics website?

Not to sound ungrateful, but I just read 2 out of the 13 pages and still don’t know what is going on. Were they hacked? Did they go bankrupt and keep the money from infilled orders? I just saw Scott on here a week ago or so promoting a big Vortex sale…
