New Contest Starting Now! This Target Haunts Me
Tell us about the one that got away, the flier that ruined your group, the zero that drifted, the shot you still see when you close your eyes. Winner will receive a free scope!
For sale section here on the forum is a good place to keep an eye out for what you want. Wouldn't be surprised if there isn't a good TRG22 on there now but I've been trying to stay out of the for sale section lately to prevent gotta have it purchases.
The twist rates is backwards from what you would expect. People getting the threaded barrels and running suppressors will be wanting to shoot the heavier bullets.
Does a 1:16 twist in 9mm really not stabilize 147s??? I'm admittedly not a big pistol shooter but haven't heard this before. Isn't...
I like SWFA optics also but it's starting to get like the Glock thing with them on this forum. Ask specifically about a Springfield, S&W, CZ, etc and get buy a Glock comments from everyone. Ask about specific scope, buy an SS HD. Just saw it on a different thread too.
Not all mounts are created equal... I think poor mounting systems allow problems leading to less accuracy and these mounts have led to the general concensus that direct thread will be more accurate. I would not condemn all mounting systems as being less accurate because of a few...
Do people...
FFP has advantages to varmint hunters using the reticle to lead moving targets and taking shots in the dark that are far enough to require a reasonable holdover. There might be a coyote present itself in an open several hundred yards away that is well lit enough to see and shoot while you are...
2.970 in my AAC-SD. I'm about to attempt load development at loading to 2.820 factory bottom metal length and hope it's not a waste of time. Load will be using Lapua brass, BR2 primers, 175 SMKs and Varget.
Some money can be saved on stock/chassis and action from the above figures even. The LRI group buy has really been tempting me. Seems like around 1k to get a complete package if you already have the donor rifle.
So federal crime of violence or drug trafficking drug trafficking is the wording. I searched WV State code and the word suppressor or silencer appear nowhere.
The thing stopping most people in this industry isn't American pride but lack of American products that are comparable to the TRG or AI. If deciding between two comparable products I would buy American but I wouldn't buy a product that doesn't fit my needs as well just because it was made in...
I've been thinking about the same thing. I like the PST over the Nightforce because of the FFP and cost and most any problem I seem to find with the PST is a quality control issue that's quickly replaced.
Have seen many builds using cheap Weaver base and nice rings with no issues. I use Weaver base and Seekins rings but my rifles aren't subjected to enough abuse to comment on durability.
Problem I've found is you'll see so many people say they have never had a problem with a certain setup but...
So does it depend on each individual law having such an enhancement or is a general statewide or federal thing that can used as an enhancement with any crime?
DNR violations are often honest mistakes with the constantly changing laws. I understand everyone has to keep up with the law and is responsible if they don't but it would be ridiculous if them missing some little addition to law could be made into a big thing just because they had a suppressor...
Was just reading something in another thread and it got me thinking... Just how far can the crime committed with a suppressor adding 10 years to sentence be taken?
Say someone is charged with shooting too close to a residence or shooting over a roadway or something similar. Would doing this...
