New Contest Starting Now! This Target Haunts Me
Tell us about the one that got away, the flier that ruined your group, the zero that drifted, the shot you still see when you close your eyes. Winner will receive a free scope!
You're going to have to have tall sights to have a sight picture over the can. I know neither HK45 Tactical or factory threaded P226 I've shot cleared an Osprey 45 with factory sights. If I remember right a CZ P07 Duty sights cleared the suppressor though
That was the selling point to me. My county Sheriff is very pro gun rights including NFA items and I could have very easily gotten signature on my items. The greater benefits of the trust was putting my wife and Dad on it. My wife can use any NFA item and I can even loan things to my Dad...
Cool. Keeping a 308 SBR quiet can't be a small task. The weight and accuracy of Thunder Beast is what draws me to then so I think I will go with a 30BAS or 30PS to even further enhance it as being my compact precision can.
Mil/mil or MOA/MOA is debated constantly. I prefer and see much more mil/mil but as long as your reticle you won't have a problem learning. The big learning curve that is very hard to overcome is when people buy a mil dot reticle scope with mil knobs. They will spot there miss and think, well...
OP... I'm only 23 and started lurking on the forum a while back and have already learned a great deal from everyone. You came to the right place. This forum has some very knowledgeable members and most are happy to help you out.
Without trust or LLC leaving a restricted item home with a spouse you would technically be committing a felony because your restricted item is in their possession. Something other than by passing a signature or finger printing to consider.
At least you can get your money back out weapons, optics, equipment... Pinecone's point about racing is very valid. That money is gone in a weekend. Buy a nice rifle or scope and take care of it and you can sell it without taking a big loss.
5.56 can typically is shorter without sacrificing dB so it would be nice to have to keep an AR short. I've been seeing where Specwar 7.62 actually performs as well or better than 5.56 cans but you're still talking about 2 inches and several ounces more weight.
Many of the things you are asking about are very comparable and come down to personal preference so you're going to get all different recommendations. Scope is going to be largely dependent on price because there is such a wide price range you can get into with optics. Check out Seekins rings...
I already load and shoot lead a great deal so that's a big advantage to the Octane for me. Definitely adding a 300 Blackout to my list. This is a constant spending addiction. Lol
