New Contest Starting Now! This Target Haunts Me
Tell us about the one that got away, the flier that ruined your group, the zero that drifted, the shot you still see when you close your eyes. Winner will receive a free scope!
I would pick a scope that has useful parallax down to 25 yards or less. Pick one that has your favorite reticle. And the best glass you can afford. Then buy a great mount ( they are almost as vital as a great scope). This all assumes that you are heading for precision. If your needs are more...
Personal opinion but I disagree. Things may have changed but my experience with "rimfire" specific scopes is that they suck. I have been running centerfire scopes on my rimfires for 40 years. I have 4 10/22s. 2 have red dot sights (Holosun 507 Comp) and one has a nightforce 7-35 atcar the other...
There was a discussion about it here a while ago. It started in the IP whining thread and I think there was a separate thread. Not my sytle but it will probably work for many.
My precision rifles all wear two stage triggers as they support my chosen shooting style/process. Are they intrinsically better, no, not for everyone. You need to try both. See which fits with and supports a process you can follow and be successfully with and then train under the constraints of...
Yeah, a 419 is a good piece of kit. Somehow I missed the Click. That would account for the point of impact change. Still a chance of a scope issue but dump the Spuhr and send it in.
Interesting, as far as them having a systemic problem, I have not seen it in the two I have received in the past month or so. I would get it sent in and see what back. You do need to tighten the rings to 25 in/lb!
I have one as well. My two comments are that I like the reticle, but it seems to be competing with the Aimpoint which has a much smaller form factor. I do like it though, but have not bought another🤔
