    Did not check the velocity. I will next time out . Didn’t want the magneto speed to throw off the harmonics. I was also leaning somewhere around 44.8. It’s for a hunting bullet (nosler 168 BT Hunting). Weird thing is, that’s almost a whole grain over what my 168 BTHP uses. 43.9 grn... 43.6...

    The center of 24.4 and 24.6 is pretty close together. I would try to tune with seating depth and see if you can tighten that up.

    Well, I was under the impression that the ogive line would be the same across bullets, however the AOL and bullet length itself would vary.

    So I put the modified case in the hornady gauge put a 140 SST bullet and measured 2.194 toM ax CBTO. Then put a 140 ELD-M and got 2.069 Max CBTO. Pictures say a thousand words, so... shouldn’t those who lines be even?

    Yeah, Point taken... Makes sense... I got wrapped up in the LR mindset... I have other options for LR Precision... And you are correct, seeing the bullet trail and/or impact does tell you a lot about the A to B track...

    I went with a Lone Star Precision Tube mount. I prefer the tube mount to rails or caps since it can be leveled to cross hairs regardless of rifle natural Cant.

    I didn’t know that about SST’s. They are one of the few billets I can find locally (hornady). Anything else I have to order.... I may get some sierras on the next purchase I make. Ill make some rounds and get the magneto out for them. 40.6- 40.9. Just another reason to go shoot some more. Haha.

    Well.. 41.7 gr testing did not meet expectations. Tested different seating depths but nothing spectacular. Maybe 42 is my charge?? Thoughts?
