    All I ahoot is 700’s but I did have a PTG straight bolt/ handle at one time, I personally didn’t like it, it felt like I always had to reach farther ( probably because I did have to.. That being said, a lot of custom action aren’t swept, and i don’t hear any complaints

    223 factory precision ammo for Trainer?

    I’m gonna do the same thing, and I don’t hand-load either, but I’m going .308 trainer. If you’re buying match ammo or whatever practice rd, it’s not that much cheaper to shoot a .308.. plus you get better at managing recoil, spotting impacts- this is just my .02 and I also miss having a .308

    I appreciate the awesome input!! Sounds like my hunch was correct about the SWFA having better glass..I’m not gonna get rid of the Steiner, it’s done well for me other than glass, and the CA being a little janky.. My problem is that I always have an itch to scratch, and right now it’s SWFA ??‍♂️
