    I rarely neck only size, but I learned a long time ago not to N/O size more than 3-4 X and then do a proper F/L sizing. Beating on your bolt handle to get it open with a 2X4 will educate you.

    2000 MR alternative

    I've shot a bit of 2000 MR in the 308 Win. with 175's. I also tested CFE 223 and found it to be very close to 2000 MR in charge weight and velocity. When I run out of 2000 MR and can't find any, I will be using CFE 223.

    I took a look at a 2004 IMR powder reloading pamphlet I have. It has data using PB powder in 9MM, 40 S&W and .45 ACP. Loads are very close to Bullseye & Winchester 231 powder charges. I'm sure you didn't pay $50.00 a pound for it. No reason not to use it up.
