    Rust……

Put all your dies in a drawer and place one of these in with them, they won't rust. I use a few emitter shields in the safes but I don't need anything in the garage were I do my reloading, humidity is too low. http://www.bull-frog.com/products/

    Building the Perfect Reloading Room

I went and changed it up again. Built another bench a few days ago but added a cutout so I could sit at the computer.

Is body armor necessary for a civilian?

You could also add a security door in the doorframe of your bedroom door and that should give you plenty of extra time. granted, not much of a plan if there are other family members around the house but if it's just you and/or your significant other, most door kickers are not going to expect...

Are gps units outdated or needed for non mil?

I have an inReach Explorer + that I pay 12 dollars a month to keep active. If I get into real trouble and have to pay extra for each call, I don’t care.

So if you go thermal and you hear something outside, what do you think you will see when trying to look through the window.

    $60k for a base F150?

Had three (150,250, and 350), but I sold the 2002 250 last year. I bought my 350 in late 2019 right before all the current mess. Same thing will happen just like it did several years ago when fuel prices went nuts, many with trucks will sell them because they can't afford to put gas in them.

Physical Fitness FACT: Chilli without beans ain’t Chilli !!!!

While I prefer beans in my chili, I only use dark red kidney beans.

Why the disrespect for Vets with disability?

I did not go see the VA before I retired, I just completed my physical and that was it. Fast forward 11 years and I decided to use my VA home loan again as I paid off the first one. VA wanted to charge me a 30k dollar “service fee” because I was using my VA loan again and I did not have a...

    Alleges Theft of Valor

No, you would not have joined because according to you, all of the wars since WWII are not worthy of your participation and sacrifice. I could have done something else, but I felt it was an obligation seeing how my father was a Purple Heart recipient from the Korean War and my two brothers were...

    Alleges Theft of Valor

Well, here is one definition: Valor ['valər] Great courage in the face of danger, especially battle. Here I am (on the far left), with a few of my brothers, celebrating our annual birthday back in 2007. The gentleman standing next to me was awarded the first Purple Heart that was earned...

    Alleges Theft of Valor

So, in other words, you are on a discussion about stolen valor, something you have zero experience with; however, you feel that your opinions on how others who currently serve or served in the military should handle such incidents should carry any weight. By all means, post up your contact info...

    Alleges Theft of Valor

Because some folks in specific communities take it very personal when people claim/project to be something they are not. If you wear it, prepare to be challenged if something doesn't seem right. I would assume the same for any special forces types or any other specialty that takes extreme effort...

    Alleges Theft of Valor

While that is how it should be, that is often not how it is done. Of the two that stand out, there was a Chief Petty Officer (E-7 for non-Navy folks) that showed up to attend IDC School with a SEAL trident. He was not a SEAL and never attended BUDS. Not only was he allowed to remain in class...

    Alleges Theft of Valor

I also did 24 but I did not have a retirement ceremony. The command I was with deployed about three weeks before I went on terminal, so I was left behind to sit in the office. I stayed until 15:30 on my last day and I just turned out the light and left. I wanted to drive over to RTC in San Diego...

    Jacket choice?

In too late but this is also an option for someone that might be looking for something similar. While I have the Mark V and highly recommended it, they also have a winter soft shell jacket. https://kitanica.com/collections/jackets

    Alleges Theft of Valor

You see this same type of stuff from those on active duty. Most commands never verify a member's service record to what they wear so many go unreported. I had one command where the first stop was the CMC's office with your service record. Folks walk in with a rack of ribbons and come out with a...
