    If you time your purchases well CTR mags are priced comparable to AICS, and I always thought they fed smoother. Maybe I'm alone in that sentiment.

    I haven't messed with it but I believe you can run it either capped or exposed. Not sure if there's a locking element when exposed, but the detents between each click were pretty beefy.

    PLXc 1-8 on my 16" M&P10 .308 It seemed like too much scope on my 14.5 M4gery and threw off the balance compared to my TA31, but is perfect for this build. The Eotech looks good on paper too, but 1-10's just seem to not do any one thing super well for me.

    His 3-18x50 is the HX model, SFP and yours are FFP, correct? I've been looking hard at the 3-18x44 FFP for a 20" Precision AR build. Reviews have been a little tough to come by, I'm hopeful the 44mm objective is big enough to keep the image bright.

    Found some more posts on other forums to make me pretty positive its M18x1 now. May take the thread protector to the hardware as @category_theory suggested and double check though. And the more that I think about it, no reason to be married to 1/2x28 in this instance. .223 or not. Thanks.

    I have an older T3 .223. 20" threaded barrel. Can anyone confirm what thread that is? M18x1 I'm thinking, but Google Fu has been inconclusive and I'd rather not 'screw' this up. Any barrel thread adapters to avoid? I'd like to get this to 1/2x28 to then get a KeyMo Flash hider on if possible.
