And if you read back there was some issues with the brass and primer pockets but from this new batch it seems to be MUCH better. With the hybrids it's very forgiving on load development. I also got lucky and both of mine use the same exact load with both hybrids and VLDs which makes it nice. I...

And yes whidden pointing die. My bullets are Bn coated befor hand so I don't know if you need to lube the tips of they are not pointed or not but I don't do anything but pull them out of one box, point and put them in another box. Sent from my SM-N900V using Tapatalk

No trimming, just pointing and it's quite I normally point about 2-500 at a time. Usually I do it while the chargemaster is dumping powder for a few hundred loads. I can point two for every case I can resize or roughly 2-3 per 42.8gn pour from the chargemaster. Sent from my SM-N900V using Tapatalk

Point the bullets and that 22" barrel will hang with a 24" which is what every one of mine have been and 3150fps has been very easy to reach with zero pressure signs. I've slowed these two new barrels down a little to 3117fps (yeah not much) but my dope is a good bit less with this load and the...

I think I have some 105gm Hornady bullets somewhere but we just moved. I'll try to seat a few with my whidden dies that I use a 269 bushing with and see what it does. I do know the whidden dies work much better than the Hornady dies on the VLDs I use for practice so maybe they have a VLD type of...

I'd be happy with 3k fps if it shot well. Especially for a practice load or something. I shoot on average about 250 some odd rounds a week so not having to replace a barrel every 4 months would be nice. Lol. Sent from my SM-N900V using Tapatalk

Let me know how it turns out. I'm also going to try some h1000 but think I'll be a little short on capacity to get the velocity I want. If not it would help barrel life out a ton since it's a slower burning powder. Sent from my SM-N900V using Tapatalk

    tactical pants

I just ordered a few pair of the crye pants and while they are expensive as hell as a civilian who will wear them in precision rifle matches I'd expect them to last a long ass time and they have the lifetime warranty. To me that's a big selling point. My daughter went though about 3 backpacks a...

    6mm creedmoor loads?

My new brass feels much better than the last batch so hopefully it will remain nice and tight. I'm going to keep reloading 20 of them each go around to see how long I can go without annealing or the primer pockets going to junk. Sent from my SM-N900V using Tapatalk

Go to gunbot.com for the primers. I just ordered 5k wolf primers but can't remember where I ordered from. Sent from my SM-N900V using Tapatalk

Yes it will speed up. My brux barrels sped up about 80 fps or so, bartlien around 60fps so far and picking up a little each time out. It should settle down after 150 rounds or so. I would find a load around 3075fps if possible and see if it stays accurate, All of mine have. Sent from my...

    6mm creedmoor loads?

Br2s work good until. Primer pockets loosen up then you will want the wolf or tula primers.. I see an average of about 8fps variance between the br2s and the wolf primers with wold being a little faster and more consistent. The last shot in this group was a br2 which got mixed in with the wolf...

Take the expander ball off. Why would you want to undo what you just did with the bushing? :-) Sent from my SM-N900V using Tapatalk

    My XLR chassis improvement

Exactly what I was thinking about after cussing my mags yesterday during a drill. Its with every bottom metal with two exceptions that Ive ever owned. One was a Surgeon and one was a PTG that I owned for about 2 days. Both of those do not fit flush with the stock (manners at that time). I have...

    6mm creedmoor loads?

When I had my gap10 I shot bn coated 105gn hybrids at 2.7550 which were pointed so it took a little more powder but 41.8 is what i ran and was very accurate. Velocity was around 3050fps Sent from my SM-N900V using Tapatalk
