    I'm getting ejector swipes at 40.6gn of h4350 but I'm betting it had to do with more of a timing deal being a semi than a pressure deal. I'm got an adjustable gas block on the way along with some others and hopefully they will straighten it out. It sure does shoot great at 42.5gn of h4350...

    Bringing this back up. I just picked up a gap10 in 6mm Creedmoor and looked over some of the loads on here and found where George said to run 41.5gn of h4350 with the Hornady 105gn BTHP.     Steiner 5-25x56 on a 34mm Bobro mount. No problems clearing anything. Its big on the gun but works perfectly! Sight picture is perfect with the stock thats on it. If not put a PRS stock on it and go have fun!

    When I did the mile shot with my 308 for the novelty part of it I needed 28.3mils with a 100 yard zero to get there with a 185gn Berger juggernaut and 185gn Berger VLD. I had a 12"x24" target standing tall ways and only went two for 20 but I hit the damn thing. :-) would have worked out better...

    That all depends on the amount of cant on your base/mounts as far as to how much you will have left over for elevation. With 40moa worth of cant on my base and a 6mm Creedmoor I only have around 20mils, however that 21 mils takes me past a mile so its plenty of elevation for that setup.

    It's good stuff for sure. I always have a h4350 load and a h100v load. Then I use whatever I have more of or can find easier. For the most part I've been able to find h4350 and at one time stocked up on h100v but I'm down to 5lbs or so of it so I save it for when I want to push the bullets way...
