    Desert Tech WLVRN

Just for fun, and because I like the 6 ARC, I made a custom barrel for it. Fun and neat little project: 6 ARC WLVRN

    Custom 6 ARC Conversion

oh ya, exit hole was probably 2-3 inches wide. It didn't hit a rib going in, but did on the way out.

    Custom 6 ARC Conversion

Was able to get a culling tag for mule deer, and put the little 6ARC WLVRN to work. Took this doe from 300 yards with the 105gr handloads.

    Best 5.56 bullet for Coyotes

WHAT?!?! I was assured by several forum folks that this is a silly supposition. That bullets don't yaw or tumble, and coming apart is an absolute failure.

    Best 5.56 bullet for Coyotes

That for sure sounds like an anomaly, I've shot thousands of plastic tipped bullets from most manufacturers through a huge variety of guns. I cant think of a time where one broke off while in the gun.

    Custom 6 ARC Conversion

I suppose, but I knew that going in, and is part of why I chose it. Plus all the same arguments could be made in favor of 6CM or .243 over the GT, and I don't really want those either. I suppose, but this thing doesn't hardly kick with the 105's so thats not really a concern to me. Plus I have...

    Custom 6 ARC Conversion

I guess if you look at it as a large frame with adaptors perhaps, I don't because it was designed to operate this way, not adapted from one to accept another. I don't really plan on shooting large frame calibers from this one, as I have another one that has quite a selection of bigger cartridges...

    Custom 6 ARC Conversion

It isn't a large frame, it's both. How is GT easier to load than ARC? loading both is easy, and the ARC has a lower powder charge. There is WAY more ARC ammo than GT, not that I care because they are both easy to load. What did you mean there are higher quality magazines? Is there some magazine...

    Custom 6 ARC Conversion

There are higher quality magazines for the GT than for ARC/Grendel? Lower weight of what? Gt's are easier to load than ARC's? Neither of them are "off the shelf".

    What do you mean?

    Custom 6 ARC Conversion

Perhaps, I love the GT in my SRS

    Custom 6 ARC Conversion

I did this once before, and I liked it so much I decided to make another. I love this little rifle! Custom 6 ARC WLVRN

It wasn't the first or second shot, but it was the last

Thats what I was thinking too, they just work!
