I don't doubt he does it, just find it unusual and generally unnecessary. I completely understand, and applaud, not buying screws from Taiwan or China. Not doubting you, but having spent many years in the fastener business, this would really surprise me. There are several companies that make quality fasteners, and who do it much cheaper than they can be made in house. Camcar-Textron and SPS-Unbrako are just a couple off the top of my head.- mi650
