    Bushnell elite options

I have the LMSS 8-40 with reticle. My only gripes are that the eye relief isn't as good on it as I would have liked, and the add-on rails are kinda pricey!

Best Self-timing Muzzle Brake out there?

I use a rag to help tighten it up and it's been fine... when I just used my hands it would back off after about 10 shots... of course I might have "wussy" hands :-).

Best Self-timing Muzzle Brake out there?

I found you really have to crank-down and tighten the brake... otherwise if it loosens it opened by groups up.

Looking for shooting bags, help please.

Yup, Bipod and rear bag is all you need. Don't go real cheap on the bipod, they will just give you constant headaches. Look into a Harris, 6x9 with swivel... will be about $110ish online. I like the tab gear small rear bags.

questions about range on a 308 w/20" barrel?

Agree with @diverdon... really depends on all of the factor. For example: I have a Rem700 20" that shoots great groups with 168gr FGMM, but not so good with 175's. With the 168grs, I've gotten out to 800yd pretty consistently... if the rifle could stabilize 175's, I think 1000 would be possible

Best Self-timing Muzzle Brake out there?

Area 419 if I want to be able to switch easily between a brake and a can. I really like Area 419s attention to detail (packaging, tools, etc.) APA if I know I'm not going to run a can. Haven't tried a Heathen yet

Is tumbling with stainless really what its claimed to be?

I like it... it's nice to get the brass super clean... not sure it has any actual performance benefits decap ss pins size trim toss in tumbler to get lube off load my only issue with wet tumbling is we have hard water, and after rinsing it leaves spots not the brass when it dries... kinda...
