New Contest Starting Now! This Target Haunts Me
Tell us about the one that got away, the flier that ruined your group, the zero that drifted, the shot you still see when you close your eyes. Winner will receive a free scope!
You can take our 3.5-15x50 and mount it on a Remington 5R with .885" tall rings and also mount the 3.5-15x56 in the same rings, granted there is tighter clearance to the barrel, but it mounts up in the same rings.
I'm just wondering if it is the perceived mounting height? That tends to be what I find out. People assume that the 56mm objective requires a higher mounting solution than a 50mm when in turn, the majority of the time, they can use the same height solution.
That is the plan, but plans can change based on external factors. I would really like to provide a definitive answer. Everytime we have released delivery dates, they were meant to be 100% truthful, not an exaggeration to buy time.
Frank has been kept in the loop along the way and has been very...
The MOAR was designed by shooters for shooters with several years of feedback from the market. The MOAR was designed to be better in field/tactical conditions. The NP-R1 was originally designed to be a target reticle.
The very thin line thickness of the NP-R1 often disappears in shadows and...
If at anytime you feel as if something may be wrong with your new scope, by all means, please contact our Customer Service Team at (208)476-9816 ext. 201.
The aperture is there but not overly obtrusive and does not change the overall FOV relative to magnification.
What you are seeing was originally there and is visible between 5-8x. It is an aperture and is a design characteristic of the scope. It is not a mechanical problem. It is what some refer to as tunnelling on a Schmidt & Bender.
WOW! My hats off to David's wife, David, Jim, Richard, and John along with the fantastic RO's and Sponsors. You guys pulled off a World Class match.....and all in a day. I've attended several of David's carbine matches in the past and knew that it was going to be a quality match based off of...
Mike,
We watch, we listen, we try hard; but unfortunately I cannot comment about the things that are under development.
What I can say is this......while I realize we will never please everyone, there should be some happy campers.
This link will take you to the brochure posted on the website which explains a little more about the MIL-SPEC models.

MIL-SPEC is not a different set of features and benefits. It is a construction method that differs from the commercial...
The windage is often requested to be capped by certain Military end users. Some want the windage exposed but unmoveable without an input.
As Frank has mentioned, much of the requirements are born from the use of the Horus reticle. Most are being taught to stay in the scope and hold for...
Frank is correct. The Main adjustment never changes from .2mr or .5moa increments regardless of precision elevator lever. The precision elevator lever allows you to slide in between the larger increment of the large adjustment knob; if needed. The lever provides a single throw in the "Up"...
The Velocity 1000 is not available for the 2.5-10x32; only the Velocity 600.
The Velocity 600's work extremely well as they are well within the allowable variance for atmospheric changes to impart a large amount of change.
The V600 is calibrated at 10x, but being second focal plane, you can...
The ratio was meant for it to be equivalent to the line thickness of the 5.5-22x if used on 22x in the ATACR.
You are correct, there should be reference of such on the website and there are changes in the works. All I can do is apologize.
I will say that there are several of us that monitor...
Its .140 on the 15x and .125 in the 22x and 32x(when on 22x)
That reticle sheet does not reference the 5-25 ATACR, of which is .110 in line thickness
Nightforce told me so......trust me ;)
I don't get to compete like I used to. One thing I always said...if I could only shoot one match a year, it would be one of David Tapp's and his awesome crew at Steel City. A place that lots of friendships were cultivated and still very strong to this very day.
I will be there representing...
