New Contest Starting Now! This Target Haunts Me
Tell us about the one that got away, the flier that ruined your group, the zero that drifted, the shot you still see when you close your eyes. Winner will receive a free scope!
Re: NF reticle choices
NP-R1 and NP-R2 are the same line thickness - .0625 MOA.
The MOAR is twice as thick as the NP-R1 & R2 - .125 MOA but still thin enough to be precise. The thickness of the MOAR lends itself very well to field work.
The MOAR has quickly become the number one selling...

Re: NF parallax
It sounds as if you are adjusting your diopter setting to focus the reticle. Not adjusting for parallax. Parallax can only be adjusted for when aiming at your target.
The reticle does not move when you tune out parallax. The image is getting focused to appear on the same...
Re: New Nightforce "B.E.A.S.T." & ATACR
The .1mr or .25moa fine lever can be used to establish your fine zero.
Then the lever can be centered back up just as the dial/knob can be zeroed.

Re: New Nightforce "B.E.A.S.T." & ATACR
The knob can be manipulated regardless of lever position.
The lever does not auto reset when the knob is turned.
The lever only adds elevation. It does not go below.
If you want to go below zero, you need to set the ZeroStop below and the lever can be...

Re: Need a 34 mm 20 moa mount for an AR platform
There are now 34mm UniMounts available from Nightforce in 1.44" height with 20moa in standard and extended models. The extended models are set forward an additional .6"
There is also a 0moa MagMount in 1.44" height that has three clamping jaws.
Re: Nightforce ATACR 5-25x In Hand
Its not just as easy as switching out the glass. It requires a new optical prescription. It is wiser to develop a completely new scope in order to change glass.
Re: Nightforce ATACR 5-25x In Hand
Both have ED/HD glass. They both look fantastic.
Whether it be Euro or Japanese, it all comes down to which lens vendors can meet the spec that is necessary for the optical prescription.
It is a fine line of definition between the two different...
Re: Why wont Nightforce sell the 2.5-10x24 to civilian
The only reason that the 2.5-10x24 still exists is to fulfill military contracts. It is not available for commercial sale or as an option to Law Enforcement.
Sales of the 2.5-10x24 almost ceased to exist upon release of the 2.5-10x32 and...
Re: NightForce Scope
The F1's and Compact models are made in the USA sans the glass. The scopes marked Made in Japan are not made a Nightforce, until the fine people of Orofino, Idaho work their magic on them.
