Thank you for the opportunity to obtain a highly needed and hard to get item.
Re: Nightforce reticle question
I wish I could share more information, but there will be a new reticle released for the 1-4 at SHOT.
As for the capability of the 1-4x24 in low light situations. It works phenomenally well. I've taken several hogs out to 100 yards with mine in near darkness...

Re: what are you using for 3gun comp?
Tactical Optics
LaRue Tactical 16" PredatAR with SJC Titan comp and Nightforce NXS 1-4 with prototype 3G reticle, Gieselle S3G trigger
Winchester SX3 shotgun w/ 22" VR barrel and Nordic Tube to hold 9+1
Glock 34 with Sevigny narrow rear and fiber optic...
Re: Where did your NightForce fall short?
While the illumination on the full size NXS is adjustable, it is not field adjustable and has been a common complaint.
Re: Ring height for nightforce 56mm?
As mentioned above, the Medium height 1.00" tall NF rings will work and provide plenty of room. If you choose, you can actually mount the 56mm in the Low height .885" tall rings and still gain clearance for the Butler Creek caps; but only the Butler Creeks...

Re: What is the latest on Premier Reticles?
Word on the street - Premier's Assets and IP have been absorbed by Armament Technology Incorporated of Nova Scotia Canada. Paul still operates the service center in Virginia from what I understand under the direction of ATI.
Optronika is...
Re: Unimount for 700 5R + NF 3.5-15x50?
Since it has the AICS with the adjustable cheekpiece, it will work.
1.265 - 1.375 is a height used often to get the scope in line with clip on NVD devices.
If it wasn't a NF with as much internal travel as it has; a Unimount could pose a problem as...
Re: nightforce UL rings return to zero??
Assuming you put them back in the same location and torque them the same they should return to a near perfect zero. Recommended torque value is 68 in. lb.
We do this alot during scope testing and have no issues at...
Re: Nightforce zero stop, how can I tell
One of the easiest ways to tell if you have the ZeroStop is how many screws hold the turret cap in place. The ZeroStop turrets utilize two opposing set screws. One at "0" and one directly opposite at "5" or "10".
Non-ZeroStops only have one set screw at...
Re: FGMM 175 typical muzzle velocities?
The CED M1 and M2 are known to be very sensitive to lighting. Don't rely on their results to be accurate as they can be off by as much as 10%.I consistently get up to 100 fps differences when I do not use my blackout box. I use the IR screens in a box...
Re: Why is Arc' Teryx so damn expensive?
I've got a fair amount of ArcTeryx gear. Some dating back to 2006 and it still sees hard use and shows little to no wear. If I invested the kind of money that I did and did not receive that type of service life, I might say not worth it.
Arcteryx...

Just curious, when you guys compare glass as in this thread; what criteria are you using for an objective comparison?

Re: Zero shift when changing power on SFP scopes
Let's put it this way. Every single scope that leaves the NF Factory has been QC inspected and wears the label to show such. It would not pass if there was any Between Power Deviation present as it is one of the points on the 70+ point QC...
