    In their defense, there are some, but very few applications where crush washers are acceptable and have been for 30+ years, namely the Ops Inc / Allen Engineering line of suppressors.

    Shim kits like those from Surefire or using a Precision Armament Accuwasher have a slight chamfer on the breach side of the shim to overcome this.

    One of my personal 6 arc builds. 12" barrel I spun up myself, LMT Specwar upper, shorty PDW stock. Have since switched to an RC3 suppressor. Managed to get some hits at 1,000 yards over the weekend.

    Thanks for the advice. I did plan to pin the scope bases since the Murphy bases already have a provision for that. I was thinking about using a West Texas switch lug too. I wanted to get all the machine work done before I send out the receivers to get nitrided.
