F T/R Competition Reloading press for F class

Re: Reloading press for F class I still use the old faithful RCBS Rockchucker presses, plus specific custom sizing dies that screw onto the press. You can use a Redding competition bullet seater that fits your press if you do not want to use Wilson seaters with a press.

Gunsmithing This is what perfection looks like

Re: This is what perfection looks like As promised, here is another one of Cloward's handy work. Too bad that I have only shot it a couple of times and have not shot in more than 15 years! Used to shoot sling with scoped rifles back then. This one's in .308 Baer. Cloward did the stock, Baer...

Gunsmithing Built 300 WM not performing **UPDATE**

Re: Built 300 WM not performing Try some Berger 210gr bullets as well as H4831SC powder, weighed very evenly. If that doesn't shoot, take it back to the Smith. By the way, your .5 MOA expectation on a custom rifle is very reasonable, and easy to achieve. However, its not always the gun...

    Gunsmithing Grizzly HELP!!!

Re: Grizzly HELP!!! This is really a sad situation! Sorry to hear that. We recently had something similar happen to a $40K South Bend lathe that the customer had paid $5K for an exclusive truck, door to door! You would think they could not screw that up...

Re: WHO HAS A G0709 14 X 40 Gunsmith's Gearhead Lathe Thanks Tac. Sometimes the problems like faulty capacitors don't get registered up the ladder unless a whole bunch of them happen. I'll check and see if we are taking care of it at the factory level. I am assuming that our guys got out...

Re: WHO HAS A G0709 14 X 40 Gunsmith's Gearhead Lathe D1-5 instead of D1-4 spindle means larger spindle bore as well as heavier and larger spindle itself. The bearings on our machines are NSK Japanese. Look closely at the gear change knob layout on the bottom - different. The tailstock barrel...
