Rifle Scopes For those who have used both- Razor Hd Gen2 vs. ATACR

I have a couple of each , I honestly prefer the Razor Gen II over my ATACR in a few areas (mostly eyebox), I also prefer the Vortex EBR2C reticle over the NF MOAR reticle. Both scopes are excellent quality but if you’re only shooting to 1000 yards I’d go with the Razor. The ATACR will parallax...

Chassis or Stock for Vudoo V22?

I have 2 Vudoos. My first one is in a Greyboe stock, my newest one is in a MPA chassis. I love shooting them both but for what I do mostly with them (NRL22 competition) I prefer the MPA chassis set up.

What to expect from a kidd supergrade

For what it’s worth I have a Kidd supergrade and I’m not really impressed by the accuracy. I’ve contacted Kidd about it and they sent me another barrel to test ( super customer service) but unfortunately the new barrel performed no better than the original. I have several 10/22s set up in...

    22LR ELR Ammo

I’ve found Eley Tenex to perform well out to 500 yards with my V-22’s. I have a video of hitting a 12” steel plate 10 for 10 at 400 yards, but I can’t get the video to load with my slow internet connection here.

Where to buy target backer board?

I make these out of the sheets of blue foam insulation from Lowe’s. This is what the AMU uses on there pistol range at Ft Benning and it works great. It lasts a long time , it’s pretty cheap, staples stick in it great , it’s weatherproof.

    NRL22 optics

I mounted the vortex Gen II Razor temporarily for the January NRL22 match since that COF didn’t have anything at 25 yards. I’ll probably have to switch to the NF ATACR 7-35 for the February match , depending on the COF. I’m trying to avoid buying another scope at the moment.

    NRL22 optics

Ok guys I just got my second Vudoo in today and I’m looking for feedback on options for optics. I’ve got an ATACR 7-35 on my first Vudoo and I’m happy with it but I actually prefer the reticle on the Vortex Razor Gen II HD 4.5-27 EBR2. I have a second Nightforce ATACR 7-35 and another Vortex...

Here are 4 different 5 shot groups I shot today at 50 yards with the Vudoo. Subtract .220” for bullet diameter and those are respectable group sizes. This gun now has over 9000 rounds through it! My second Vudoo will be here tomorrow, I’m hoping since it’s brand new it’ll shoot better than this...

    MOA scope for NRL22

I shoot NRL22 and have several rifles set up for that. I personally prefer the MOA system for NRL22, the furthest you’ll ever dial is 7 MOA for the 100 yard stages. The bulk of the distances are at 25, 35, 60, 75, 90, and 100 yards. At those distances everything for me is a whole number with my...

Bipod recommendation for first "heavy" rifle

I agree the Atlas is too short in medium / tall grass for sure. The reason I prefer it is for the cinderblock and tire stage of NRL22 for example. The Accutac’s footprint is too wide to rest on the narrow edge of the cinderblock or the narrow side of the tire. Also on the barrel stage with the...

Bipod recommendation for first "heavy" rifle

NRL22 and some PRS style centerfire. Compared to the Accutac, the Atlas is smaller , lighter, shorter and the footprint isn’t as wide when deployed which is handy in some of the barricade shooting . For prone only I like the bigger , wider, and sturdier Accutac

My second Vudoo shipped yesterday, will be here early next week. I bought my first one 6-7 months ago and even though I own over 50 rifles , it’s my favorite/ most fun. Some people say it’s crazy to pay $3000+ for a .22 rifle, but I have bought two of them now and don’t regret it for a second!
