    I just picked up 1k of the Hornady blems from Midway for a song. They're 285 grains, so I think they're Hornady. They don't say for sure, though.

    I have used them with h1000, if you're talking about the Hornady ones. 1" groups and I've done better with lighter projectiles. I have some Retumbo on order and 1000 more of the blems coming from Midway today.

    Yeah, I noticed you have to have to use more CFE than any other powders listed in my Hornady manual. Not a big deal, but you'll get less rounds per pound.

    I would clean the primer pockets and use a uniformer, which will let you seat them a thousand or 2 down further.

    Unfired Lapua .308 Brass

    I wouldn't waste time case-hardening new Lapua brass with Full-length sizing. Just neck size if you want to be extra careful. --kevin, any more 1x NT brass going to Graf's?

    Quick question on case length

    Or the excess length could be forced in by the bolt which could pinch the bullett and led to an extreme high pressure situation. Not good.
