Hunting & Fishing for those of you who go out of town...
I travel to hunt a decent amount and have never had to "find" ammo at my final destination. I am not saying that it can't/doesn't happen, but I think that the odds are in your favor that you will never have this problem either. If you are truly worried about this then the 260 is not ideal...- wfjames22

No CCI 22 ammo being made, for the near future at least
Academy here usually gets CCI sv on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday but they have a two box limit per customer, no bricks for $3.45/box. I would stop in there more often but it's way out of my normal stomping grounds. I burn through that stuff like it's plentiful and free when I am shooting...I...- wfjames22

No CCI 22 ammo being made, for the near future at least
Midwayusa (gasp!) has had CCI standard velocity and green tag in stock a few times in the past few weeks. Picked up a few thousand rounds at normal pricing. Obviously had shipping charges attached but they weren't that bad to my corner of TN.- wfjames22

6.5x47 vs 260 short barrel. 2700fps goal
In my 20" .260 with a Brux 8.5" twist, I am getting 2755fps with 140 amax and 2850fps with 130 accubonds. Both loads are with H4350, Norma brass and Rem 9.5 primers. Seated to max AI mag length. I am generally shooting at around 275' asl.- wfjames22
