Thanks @prwillard2 , This is a great presentation of the data you gathered! One word of caution about RL26, it gives great velocity but can get way over pressure with temperatures rising in the summer time. I have heard RL16 is much more temp stable but I don't know that first hand.- Bear24

Lighter is not the direction we are going right now but will eventually. The 131's can be pushed 3050+ from a creedmoore case, 3300 from a SAUM, 3400 from a WBY- Bear24

Well that's what we are trying to change, leave it so a couple stubborn Okies to make it happen. There really is a sweet spot in the .257 caliber that we are trying to share with the masses. We have gotten most of the top manufactures of barrels to tool up and start producing fast twist .257...- Bear24

.330 is what the preproduction bullets were tested at on a Ohler 88 system at 2940 fps out of a 1:7.75" twist barrel, basically just barely stable. There is a slight difference in the production run bullets which increased BC as well as using a 1:7-1:7.25" twist at those velocities bring out the...- Bear24

The advertised BC of the 131 ACE is conservative to say the least. With real world difference of over .030 G7 points and 9 grains lighter, not to mention achievable velocities that are 150-200 fps higher from the same parent case. I would have to say comparing it to the 140 ELD is a joke. It's...- Bear24

OAL will come out about 2.865", Low node has seemed to in in the 2940-2950 fps range and high has been 3050-3070 fps with some seeing them around 3020.- Bear24

Yes, BJB is at the mercy of the manufacture at this point. We have passed on every update we have gotten and expect them to be here soon. SHOT has delayed delivery by a couple weeks and currently a major storm has hit MI and not helping matters.- Bear24

We just tested our 25-06 Blackjack set up to run the 131 ACE's as stated above. Rem 700 LA, 1:7" Xcaliber 25" st. palma barrel, Magpul 700 stock, Jewell trigger. It is simply because myself and business partner have very demanding "real" jobs to fund our "dream job" Blackjack Bullets. 60- 80 hours a week plus packing and shipping orders for 3-4 hours a night is rather taxing on a guy. Short barrel magnum cartridge rifle?
3 elk, 5 mule deer (out to 630y) , a dozen or so whitetail (furthest shot was 860y) all these have been shot with a 25 creed or 25x47 running 2900-2930fps MV.
